“Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success”– Henry Ford
Dear ESAH Family,
In a time of great uncertainty, I have been moved by the members of our community who have been on the front lines during this pandemic, ensuring the health and safety of our loved ones. As you know, we have been at the center of the Coronavirus crisis from the start, providing the essential services our clients and families need. I am filled with great pride for ESAH employees; each of you carries out your specific role that allows us to fulfill our mission as an organization. I thank every one of you for your dedication and commitment – you are our heroes. Many of you have gone above and beyond during this difficult time, by adding more clients to your schedule while taking care of their own families at home. We are especially proud of the work of our Adult Day Services staff, who continue to deliver hot meals and provide virtual activities for our clients.
As we adjust to “the new normal,”, we are focused on the following initiatives.
Maintain the quality and consistency of our services to an increased number of clients
Our lead nurses continue to improve our hygiene, infection control, and self-care protocols and training materials
We continue to secure and distribute PPE to all caregivers
Communicate with every caregiver who is concerned about returning to work to guide them and to make sure they feel safe about returning to patient care
Conduct a company-wide survey from all staff members to make sure we have captured the lessons learned from the Coronavirus outbreak
ESAH is committed to doing what is right for our clients, our caregivers, our clinicians, our employees, and our families. We continue to mourn for those who have been lost and send well-wishes to those who are in the process of healing from this illness. We pledge to take the lessons of this crisis with us as we lead ourselves and our industry forward toward our new vision in homecare.
To all our clients, staff, and families, please take care of yourself, both physically and mentally. Practice self-care and utilize resources like our Coronavirus hotline. Stay healthy!
